Welcome our new ColorGuard members for next year's team.
- May 19 - Practice from 6-8pm, Meet at the Band Room - moved from May
20th to accommodate incoming Freshmen who have an Open House at their
middle school on the 20th of May
- June 3 - Parent Meeting at 7pm. Meet in the Band Room - Mandatory
ColorGuard Parent meeting to discuss fees, rehearsal and performance
commitments for the Fall 2009 season
- June 23-26 - Spring Band Camp 6-8pm, Meet at Band Room
During the Fall season, the Color Guard participates with the Marching
Band at several field competitions. This year, the Marching Band and
Color Guard took home CHAMPIONSHIP at State Finals.
During the Winter/Spring season, the Color Guard becomes the Winter
Guard and competes to taped music at various competitions hosted by the
Winter Guard International (WGI) and Winter Guard Association of
Southern California (WGASC). Last year the Winter Guard made it to
semi-finals in their class (Scholastic A) at the WGI championships in
Dayton Ohio. This year, we will be competing in the SA class. Wish them
luck this year for 2009 !
