Drum Line


  • CONGRATULATIONS! Our WINTER DRUMLINE finished in an 8th place tie (out of 30 schools) in our PSA class at SCPA CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS. From not having a Drumline last year to an 8th place finish is FANTASTIC! Great job to the kids, parent volunteers who transported them, our Band Director, Mr Weinberg and to their coaches. Final Scores are posted.

  • PARENTS: Last payment is now due. Please write check to ASB and deposit in Band Room mailbox. Due by Thursday March 18th
  • Winter Drum Line Movement #2 Drill and Video is now loaded for your review.
  • Competition information is posted in under Competitions in the Nav Bar. Aliso Niguel competition score is posted.
  • Winter Drum Line Movement #1 Music is now loaded for your review. Contact Mr. Weinberg for the password.
  • DrumLine 2010 season is starting. We are competing in the 'A' Division.
  • DrumLine fees have been established. Fee payments are due: Dec 15, 2009, Jan 15, 2010, Feb 15, 2010 and March 15 2010. Contact Mr Weinberg for exact amounts. Payments are to be made to ANHS.
  • PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: There is active involvement needed from the parents to make DrumLine a success. We need one parent to drive the truck to/from each event and six parents to assist with loading/unloading/onstage at each event. Parents are needed for student carpools to/from each event. Please sign up and find out about liability insurance.
  • 2010 Drumline Information Sheet is available.

  • ATTENTION: 8th graders and ANHS students interested in learning how to play a percussion intrument. Sign up for Evening Classes. Print out this flyer and attend our information night on Thursday, Feb 18th, at 7pm in the Aliso Niguel High School Band Room. Contact our Band Director, Mr Dave Weinberg for more information at 949-831-0824.


During the Fall season, the DrumLine participates with the Marching Band at several field competitions. We were a finalist in Marching Band this season. Last year, the Marching Band and DrumLine took STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS.

During the Winter/Spring season, the Percussion Group breaks away and competes at DrumLine competitions.
